LA Industrial Wedding

I wanted to feature this wedding on our blog as it’s something so bold but it totally works. A comination of masculinity and femininity with soft pastel flowers and decorations against raw urban  features .The wedding was held on the 11th floor of a downtown LA industrial building. After the ceremony guests watched the sunset over the cityscape. Guests were then shown through drapes into a dinner reception in the centre of the space. Source: Style Me Pretty

Author Lauren Weisberger Destination Wedding

I came across the beautiful wedding of one of my favourite authors, Lauren Weisberger who wrote The Devil Wears Prada and Chasing Harry Winston, over at Wedding Style Magazine and by the looks of it this wedding was just bliss. After a year or so of dating Mike proposed and took Lauren on a private sail around Manhattan. He then surprised her by having her family waiting for them at a riverside park with flowers, balloons and lunch. Wanting to get married before her promotional tour Chasing Harry Winston they took advantage of a cancellation and booked Anguilla’s Cap Juluca. Austin Texas Wedding

I love a wedding that is simple, elegant, close, intimate and romantic. This real wedding was held in Austin, Texas and was planned by the bride while she lived in Boston. The majority of the details, she planned herself but hired a wedding planner to help fill in the last details and coordinate the day. I love everything about this set up from the random placement of tables to the romantic lighting, to the simple table covers and chairs, to the fact that the tables aren’t swamped with glitter, favours, mirrors, vases etc. Here are some words from the bride about how they planned their wedding and chose vendors” “Choosing our vendors was really serendipitous. Dude, Will You Be My Groomsman?

Most people probably don’t think of this, but what do grooms-to-be do to ask someone to be their groomsman? Some men probably find this part a bit awkward, especially if it isn’t completely clear who should be their groomsmen.
